2012-13 School Year Registration

The California Kindergarten Readiness Act of 2010 changed the law for kindergarten entry date from December 2 to November 1, 2012. Children must be 5 years old by November 1, 2012 to enter traditional kindergarten. For the 2012-2013 school year, parents of students who turn 5 between November 2 and December 2, 2012 may choose to register their children for Transitional Kindergarten.
